Mary has always lived in a river town and grew up appreciating the need for the public to have access to the Hudson River. As the Hudson becomes healthier, opportunities grow for families to explore the river environment and enjoy being on the water. Although Mary has yet to get in a kayak or on a paddleboard, she looks forward to earning her ‘sea legs’ this summer.
Mary is a financial consultant, former public official and serves on the boards of other nonprofit organizations. Mary and her adult children and grandsons live in Peekskill.
